A warning for those interested in picking this game up, the devs have long since abandoned ship. There are multiple lobby breaking hacks that ruin the experience of this game. The flagship mode Galactic Assault is near unplayable, hackers will keep players from spawning, skip phases, and spawn all players in a big pile over and over again. Heroes Vs Villains is the only consistent game mode that's available to play due to it being 4v4 and a lot of the same people still running matches.

Then there are the matchmaking bugs that have been present since launch. If you queue with a friend, chances are you will be put into an empty lobby. There is no server browser. There is a rotating "event" schedule throughout the week. On Sundays "fast spawn" is active and causes a ton of bugs if you happen to get into a game, such as more heroes than allowed being spawned at once.

In short the game is held together with sticks and glue. I love this game, over 3k hours in it. If you want a fast paced, immersive, Star Wars shooter, this is it. However those moments of immersion are quickly ripped away by EA's shortcomings on handling it. If you can put aside that nonsense there is a great game and for the most part great community still playing.
