Max got mugged by Piastri holy moly
Oscar is so much better at judging his opponents in wheel-to-wheel racing than Lando, he anticipated that perfectly
At first I didnโt really like him, but now I think heโs brilliant, heโs doing great work
Oscar drives like a champion. Definitely my favorite driver.
His ability to keep cool under pressure also helps a lot.
So happy to see Max meeting his match in Oscar. He was expecting Lando-level racecraft but got unpleasantly surprised. I'm not surprised that in the second half of the season Oscar will be the first driver.
Oof Carlos really drove into Lewis in that last corner...

Fantastic racing from Piastri. Makes sense for McLarens to push and use up the tires if they're gonna have to switch to inters/wets soon because of the rain.
Loved that shot of the Merc pit crew casually strolling back into the garage while the "virtual safety car" insert finally appeared

We saw P2 might be the place to start from in the sprint if you can get away quicker than pole. Max is not gonna give it away as easily as Andrea did though.

TV direction has been god awful all weekend.

If I could learn to give up on Lando and actually want a Piastri championship win I would be a much happier person.
Lando's 10 times more charming than Piastri tho

Considering how much max held up both McLarens in the first stint, they could have very easily ended another 5-10 seconds clear of the field without that.
