Hi all! On Win10 I used PhonerLite to connect to fritzbox SIP services. I'm looking for a sip/softphone client that lets me at minimum make and receive calls. I did some research and found the following packages in the arch repo/aur:

  • linphone-desktop - marked as outdated(?), appimage version has bug reports and needs tinkering
  • viber - doesn't mention SIP?
  • jitsi - last package update 5 years ago?
  • zoiper-bin - proprietary and not transparent on difference between free/pro
  • twinkle-git - git repo down

None of them seem to be a good choice. Has anyone other recommendations but to try and run PhonerLite in wine?

Edit: Formatting

Edit2: I went with zoiper-bin in the end, and it works for calling. On every startup it has an ad for the pro version though. For anyone else who needs to open up the ports to receive calls, these are the ones you need for it to work with a fritzbox:

  • 5060-5061 udp
  • 30000-65535 udp and tcp

I found out in my previous job that it's possible to have a phone number linked to your teams account. It's a paid service, but I thought I'd mention it in case it's of relevance to you.
