A weekly thread for discussing the wild, whacky and utterly mundane of life in our sizeable and crusty slice of the earth's crust.

No Corflutes!!

The roads are no longer polluted by enormous faces on signs. We should move WA day to celebrate!

The candidates names may be forever seared into my retinas, but their faces will just be a misty haze across my vision now.

I will miss tracking the corflute wars though. It got intense this year. Lots stolen. Corflute heists and hijinks were a pitched battle to be watched with the most mild of interests on my drive to work.

@Gorgritch_umie_killa I work in Tangney - the only war the Liberals won in that electorate was the corflute war. Every single power pole on Leach Hwy going up to the Shelley Bridge had a Liberal corflute as far as the eye could see. Not an exaggeration.

Edit: I tell a lie - some of them were for Keep the Sheep!

I think they should've put it in their policy offering,

  • Off in the never never nuclear power
  • Cuts by JP (what they call government efficiency)
  • Thousands of corflutes

Could've really helped fill the line and spaces quota in the Statement of Policies document.

Edit: My bad, Liberals don't do quotas, because quotas make you Mao. They researched it.
