Nobody else is calling this out

If someone else was documenting it, I wouldn't be here on Lemmy creating these posts. I am not here to entertain myself by posting what the "current trends are" in already-popular media.

I am HERE to get people to WAKE THE FUCK UP. I think the USA population is avoidant of media ecology comprehension

I think now-dead authors such as:

  1. Joseph Campbell

  2. Howard Bloom (NYC) - Exception, he is still alive

  3. Marshall McLuhan

  4. Neil Postman

  5. Professor Rick Roderick of Duke University lectures

  6. Hannah Arendt

  7. Peter Pomerantsev - Exception, he is still alive

  8. Edward Bernays

 

have been overlooked, misunderstood, not seen as relevant, dismissed. I think people in USA society, no matter if independent or in a political party or even legal age to vote, or which nation their passport / voting rights are from, are unable to seriously discuss any of these author's ideas about group behavior, population.

That void of understanding, that absence of comprehension within USA society - is WHY I am posting these. It isn't for my personal entertainment and mockery of Reddit. It is everyone on the pale blue dot that is my focus, the entire forest, not just the trees of the owners of Reddit.

In my most recent posting:

Reddit won't publish comment that mentions "Rupert Murdoch Fox News" criticism by name, automatic unpublish with no notification. Censoring criticism of other totalitarian media systems like Reddit

I got fast as possible reaction comments on Lemmy telling me it may have been Elon Musk's name and not Rupert Murdoch.

I am not here for such trivialities. My title, again:

Reddit won't publish comment that mentions "Rupert Murdoch Fox News" criticism by name, automatic unpublish with no notification. Censoring criticism of other totalitarian media systems like Reddit

This title does not SAY that it was the ONLY words "Rupert Murdoch", it may have been "Elon Musk" words in the posting that triggered the non-published silent censorship of my Reddit comment. My post title says mentions Rupert Murdoch, it does not SAY that those were the only words that REMOVED the comment.

YOU BETTER BELIEVE I AM IN DISTRESS OVER UNITED STATES OF AMERICA MAY 2025 MEDIA ECOLOGY CRISIS! I AM NOT HAVING FUN, THIS IS NOT FUNNY TO ME, IT IS IN NO WAY ENTERTAINING TO ME!

 

I know a bunch of technical minded people are on Lemmy, and all many of them care about is the technical precise "which word removed it" concern, I am NOT HERE for that discussion today!

Lemmy Titles are even SHORTER LENGTH LIMIT than REDDIT titles. The TITLE DOES NOT SAY "THESE EXACT WORDS TRIGGERED REMOVAL". The POSTING MESSAGE BODY says the EXACT WORDS!* - just right below the TITLE!

I am not here for Lemmy reaction mockery and entertainment comments of people too lazy to discuss the authors I mentioned in the posting... REPEATING:
