Is the SteamOS version out yet? I wouldn't wanna pay the $200 Windows tax just to put Linux on it. I would wanna go with Bazzite though, it's just SteamOS++ honestly.

Is it better on the deck too or is steamOS better for it?
That's annoying that the same hardware is $200 more when windows is installed.They're meaning a model with SteamOS preinstalled. They don't want to pay an extra $200 on it if a SteamOS model will be released for $200 less than the Windows model. They're putting Bazzite on it regardless of whether they get a Windows model or if they buy a SteamOS model if/when that comes out.
Bet the user experience is light years ahead of whatever hacky windows modification they put on it by default
