I have the cat gun safety book. It would be hilarious if I thought satire was funny anymore.

Joke's on you I have the cat hair craft book and it's glorious.

[–] threelonmusketeers@sh.itjust.works 5 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

What have you made with your cat's hair?

[–] matelt@feddit.uk 3 points 3 weeks ago

A heart-shaped keyring! It's got a weird texture, cat hair isn't all fine after all, it's not like angora wool!

I also tried felting a little heart on a sock (just so I'm not judged for having felted cat hairs on full display) but that dissolved after 2 washes.

If the authors name is bigger than the title, you know it's mainstream, that's for sure.

Oh so if I make my name bigger than the title I can possibly sell more books? As a writer I really like to know how the cover can help sell more books.

It's because the author is already famous and they want ppl to stop thinking and buy the moment they see the name. Example: https://www.behance.net/gallery/70347177/Stephen-King-Classic-Collection-2018

Would making my name huge trick people into thinking I'm famous? Don't think I could do Stephen King level but, if people start reading my novels it be cool.

No idea. Good luck. Fingers crossed 😄
