My wife is going to find this picture of her on the internet disturbing. She thinks no one else saw that fire.

Our problem will quickly be everyone's problem if this isn't dealt with soon.

The US military wont even continue to function for more than a few months without global cooperation. All their weapons systems rely on foreign components. They dont have the knowledge or tech to repair half their equipment because the manufacturers use IP laws to keep the info locked down. They can start a war, but they wont be winning.

That's good to hear. Canadian guerrillas will win if the US invades.

India/Pakistan seem to be on the brink of war, multiple European countries have elected self described fascists into power, China continues power grabbing the South China Sea, the Russia/Ukraine war, expanding climate disasters (everywhere) but largely in Africa and South America, and as mentioned the US craziness which drags everyone else into it. I think there's a pretty good argument that things are falling apart globally, it's just worse in some places than others

As someone who lives three borders away from Ukraine, I beg to fucking differ, my friend 🫠

I do wonder if the number of ongoing wars is even actually higher at the moment compared to 10 years ago. Europeans were simply lucky enough to be able to think of wars as a "far away" thing for the past few decades, but there was never really peace.
