Does your tree get covered in bees when it starts flowering? We had some when I was a kid and I remember the buzzing coming from them constantly when the flowers started to show up. We had lots of other fruit trees in the same area and the chokecherry always seemed to pull the biggest crowd of pollinators.

That's a beautiful memory!
