Yep, intentional. They show Rick right after the second panel (which is from the next episode "Christmas Attack Zone!"). Or is that something that got edited out on streaming / later BD releases?

I had always made the connection that there was a Rick who genuinely did look similar to Liz! But it just adds another layer to the joke when you take into account the nametag line from the previous episode, implying that this new manager was already trying to avoid this type of mix-up from occurring
