Is there a way to prevent the humongous emojis from showing up? I'm on boost (android). (lemm.ee)

I'm not sure why, but there has been an increase in the use of the large emojis lately outside of their instance of origin. It really ruins the experience on mobile, especially when there are several in a row. Furthermore, I have nsfw blocked because I use this at work, and now there are giant emojis of a pigs shit covered balls on my screen.

I can't find the thread that made me post now, I can't even recall what it was about. I avoided mentioning the instance the large custom emojis come from, as I'm not interested starting a bitching session about them. But, they come from hexbear users. I have blocked the instance because of the emojis, though they still appear when their users post the emojis on other instances.
