I know it has become quite difficult to tell whether or not something is AI-generated or not, but please make sure that whatever you post is not AI-generated. If it is, your post will be removed. If you continously post AI-generated content, you'll be banned from /c/birding (but it's obviously okay if you post AI-generated stuff once or twice without knowing you did so).

Please provide rough information location, if possible. This is a more loosely-enforced rule, especially because it is sometimes not possible to provide a location. But if you post a photo you took yourself, please provide a rough location and date of the sighting.

Try tuning off as many lights as you can. Then open a door that has light coming through it. Show it the way out...

I used to professionally catch birds in warehouses. If they get to be an issue, put a bird mist net as close to the ceiling or those solid struts as possible. Probably up on top of that structure there if there is access. You may need to watch a video on how to set up the net. You usually need some kind of support on the sides, like a stick or pole. Then get a cane pole or something long with walmart bag on the end to make noise and shake it, chasing the bird towards the net.
You can also sometimes find success with a cardboard box propped up with a stick and string. Put some seed under and wait for them to go under.
I'm just a grunt so I don't get to make big calls like that, but I actually have setup a deadfall trap with a milk crate and a string lmao, I might go get some seed later and see if I can bait it

Actually, looking at the video, if you can't get a net up high, but you can lure him consistently onto a shelf. Look at his preferred flight off of the shelf, set up a net in that flight path, and next time he lands, stand opposite of the net and stomp, clap, shout, and thrust something at him, preferably thrust something high to keep his flight pattern low and horizontal. Do it suddenly once he's comfortable. He can see nets, but may panic enough to fly directly away from you into the net.
Turn the lights out in the warehouse and open the door and they'll usually want to leave.

If there's a food & water source, you may have Sparrows for good
i would not expect her to take Pop Tarts from the hand ??? but her calmness to your approach suggests to me that somebody's been feeding her (maybe on the sly)-- probably they drop the crumbs for her to pick up instead of trying to hand feed her tho

Well that's good at least, I just worry cause she looks young and all there is here is lights and metal truss, would just hate for her to be stuck locked up in here over the weekend and not be able to find anything to eat
