A little while ago /u/meggles2805 posted a picture of her new tattoo and the comments were… as you’d expect.
I sent her a DM inviting her to the women-only clan I’m in for a safe and positive place to share stuff like that and she joined.
Our clan has become pretty tight knit and has been doing some irl stuff since we all met at RuneFest ranging from simply grabbing lunch, to going to museums, to clubbing. This clan had me out on the streets drunk and inhaling McDonald’s at 4am.
Anyway, today a clan member hosted a barbecue for us and Meg travelled hours and hours to come and hang with us for a single day! I can confirm that she’s an absolute delight. One of the funniest fuckers I’ve ever met. Truly a “goodun”.
I drove her back to her hotel and we had a yap over a cup of tea and we both thought it was a really cute story when you look at the bigger picture and just wanted to share it with the subreddit that was the catalyst for this friendship!
2007scape can be a fucking nightmare to interact with, but I really appreciate the fact it allowed me to meet this friend. 💕
