Former strait-laced full time professional normie. As a queer, recent events have broken my brain and I’m ready to start fighting.

Posters seem safe. I’ve heard wheatpasting is a thing? It seems like it would be harder to get in and out that way - the double sided tape someone could load up ahead of time, hit and run. Is the appeal of wheatpasting that it’s natural/cheap?

A Field Guide to Wheatpasting - Everything You Need to Know to Blanket the World in Posters

Why I like wheatpasting:

  • When dried, removing posters is harder compared to tape.
  • Also work on more surface.
  • Might not be relevant for you, but you can apply it easier without leaving fingerprints.
  • I also enjoy the process of cooking my own wheatpaste. -Also the city I live enforces the laws around wheatpasting very rarely so its relatively safe compared to other cities/countries.

For more guides, ideas and inspiration I would suggest !zines@slrpnk.net and !inperson@slrpnk.net.

fingerprints

Is that really a concern? I’m US-based, so our cops are sadists…

One of my projects is something that I would be willing to be arrested for. That kind of civil disobedience would draw attention to my cause, and it is one that I think most people would be empathetic too - my mission is drawing attention to abuse at a children’s psychiatric facility.

I did have an adventure today - even got chased down by a dog! Feel like a proper crimethinc member.

I think it should be atleast evaluated and its okay to come to the conclusion to not care about fingerprints.

There's also chalk, markers, stickers and spraycans with different levels of state prosecution depending on your jurisdiction / country (e. g. I think stickers are not illegal in Germany, while spraying / markers are?).
