Welcome to TheSimpsons, a community for discussing everything related to America's non-prehistoric cartoon family, The Simpsons!

Right about now, you're probably saying, "Troy, basically every post starts with 'Guess the Episode', is that all this community is?"

To which I say you've got some attitude, mister.

But no, any Simpsons content is allowed in this community, although we do ask that you keep the shitposting over in !simpsonsshitposting@sh.itjust.works.

Guess the Episode "Rules"

These "Rules" aren't real, so if you think of something clever, do that instead.

1 point for the episode/main plot.

1 point for the joke/scene.

And I forgot to ask for any points.

Ugh. Am I the only one who attempted to zoom in to read the text, only to remember this probably aired in the 90s, and thus is a 480p source which possibly has diminished quality even further depending on OPs source?

I know I tried. Source here is Frinkiac which I think is from the DVD release? I pulled it up on Disney+, but it is also illegible. Of course as you noted it's probably 480p at best.

Looking around at other various newspapers and things from other episodes it's all just scribbles or lines.

I'm guessing this is the same, just "legal document" with no hidden jokes.

The Simpsons goes HD in season 20, but sadly Frinkiac doesn't go that high, so it's harder to try and find a hidden joke in later seasons.
