Wow I didn't realise BYD have their own RORO ships. I guess they really want to have a fully vertically-integrated supply chain. Do any other car companies have their own ships?

Very interesting. I've ordered two BMWs and both of them were shipped from Germany to the USA using NYK Line. I figured that using a shipping company would be what all (or most) of the other manufacturers would do too
That ship would have been chartered by BMW. Meanwhile Mitsubishi is one of the manufacturers who also own and operate their ships.
