I'm all for more public transport, but it's baffling to hear about this after decades of an already-existing railway system that was unusable because they barely ran any trains on them.

I'd be happy with them just getting the infrastructure we've already got to not be run by groups who actively hate their own passengers.

Humbly disagree; I'm on a mini-crusade to encourage people to always write out huge numbers in full, because of the tendency of human minds to not fully process just how huge a number a billion is.

For example, when discussing working conditions at Amazon, one should write out Jeff Bezos' net worth as $215,000,000,000 so we can see the zeroes. He could lose $5,000,000,000 and still have $210,000,000,000 left.
