StupIDPol: A based critique of essentialism

A federated homage to the subreddit of the same name. The original idea is a marxist take on identity politics and the stupidity inherent in it, but we're fresh out of marxists to run this joint.

Until any marxists step forward to take over, this is a place to post well-tempered stories and commentary about the bonkers world of identity politics.

Unfortunately due to the internet rule that says “if there’s a Nazi at a table and 10 other people sitting there talking to him, you have 11 Nazis” all Canadian MPs have now been converted to Nazis themselves and possibly even super Nazis as they didn’t just sit and talk with him they gave him a standing ovation.

I know the guy in question worked directly for Adolf Hitler, but can we really call him a Nazi if he didn't even participate in the trucker convoy?
