From 4.25% to 5%. That being said, the estimates are it'll bring it 1.7 billion, hopefully for schools.

Yeah. That’s awesome. People making nearly 8 times the average income should pay more taxes, but all this is going to do is persuade people making 500k/year to move out of state and then the state will lose 100% of that chunk of tax. They should just implement a flat tax and be done with it. Everyone pays the same percentage of their income. People making under X$/year pay zero. No other loopholes.
