Gotta admit, I like Fabrizio Romano's YouTube vids. He kind of just lists things like bullet points so you can get the information you want without any bullshit.

If Partey leaves (hopefully he does), am I crazy for suggesting that we just keep Lokonga as the backup? Between Rice and Zubimendi he's not gonna play much and with his injuries last season I'll be extremely shocked if we can even get him sold at all.
Might be something? Jorginho gone, Zinny pretty much out the door (although he was mainly played at LB, he's still a midfield option), Elneny left the season before, if Partey goes (which looks likely), we'll have Rice, Zubimendi and Merino. Not bad, but it feels a little thin.

Dare I say, hallelujah if this is the case? From a footballing standpoint yeah it's a bit shite but I think there's definitely someone waiting in the wings for this to happen, given Arteta's reliance on him.
It's a shame it's gone the way it has. I feel he's been fairly consistent for the past 1/2 seasons. Not a standout by any means and he's been forced to play out of position at times due to injuries/suspensions.
I would be nice not to have it constantly hanging around the club like a bad smell. I was trying to find an update on his case. I could only really find articles from around early Jan 2025 stating that evidence had been submitted for review to the crown prosecution.
Looks like Jamie Gittens is prioritising a Chelskie move. Are clubs still allowed to make those crazy 10 year contracts? It seems like a mistake to me since you would have minimal bargaining power for a wage increase.
There's also the potential he could get lost in their bottomless system, like Kepa or Chilwell or Joao Felix or Broja or any of the other 50 players who are under contract with Chelsea. Just fucking hell... I imagine they'll try flog off some of those players in the transfer window.
I also missed the news about Mudryk being suspended for doping. He's been charged now.

Apparently Gyokeres is trying to force through a move. Compared to Sesko who's agent said they wouldn't force a move through and suitors would have to pay whatever fee Leipzig requests. Sounds like someone's looking for a bigger cut xD
