Here it says that the app tracks and reports your activity. We usually use a VPN for privacy and anonymity. If the VPN tracks my activities and reports it, what's the point in using it at all ??

Usage and crash reporting are enabled by default (require opt-out).

Because it's not the "invasion of privacy" kind of tracking, and you can opt out of it anyway.

No surprise that it's often blocked in China. The most damning thing I see there is that they use twitter and facebook, which does seem to be true.

Haha, two of many I refuse to use. I don't blame the company, they gotta use the channels of their consumers, unfortunately for them.
