I was watching a playthrough of the game while I noticed a weird thing: when you warp to the Eye the Vessel changes drastically. All the skeletons disappear, and so does the broken warp core. And the Vessel itself shows no hints of injury it suffered in Dark Bramble.

How can that be? Well, my theory is that the Vessel near the Eye isn't the same Vessel in Dark Bramble.

Look at Solanum: among the 6 versions of Quantum Moon, she's dead in 5 of them but is alive in the Eye version. Simply by getting close to the Eye someone's fate becomes uncertain, as several possibilities emerge - without any conflict.

So, when Escall ordered his Vessel to reach the Eye, he did actually reach it - but also reached Dark Bramble instead. Both possibilities coexist: one in the familiar world of the game, and the other near the Eye.

I think this is a reasonable explanation and I never noticed that before.
