They survived a rocket beam? 😳 Not for long, probably, but still impressively sturdy.

They were potentially only exposed for a split second to the rocket exhaust, and it blew out the front and rear windows before the nozzle reached the cab interior so overpressure wouldn't be a concern. I doubt either of them can see well enough to pick up the pieces of their shattered ear drums after getting a face full of the exhaust gasses, though. Even in intentional launches they can be all kinds of horrible for your health, an unintended launch like this could have hosed you down with anything from RDX (gives you seizures) to potassium sulfide (gives you burns) to nitrogen dioxide (if the poison doesn't get you, the cancer will) to amyl (the warning placards have little skulls on them, not kidding) to just hosing you down with a stream of molten thermoplastic-stabilized oxidizers ("extra-chunky marinara sauce").

Bet they're thinking twice about joining in on this war, whatever was in the damn things...

That's just how much they love their russian allies - give them the shirts off their backs and everything...

I can’t believe my eyes that they climbed out of that thing!
