Having seen way too many rom coms… I give it a zero parcento chance of that going anywhere other than just getting interrupted or awkwardly shrugged off.

I’m so glad this show is back. It just makes me so happy to watch.

Also Japanese question: What was the word confusion that made craft store guy misunderstand what Gojo meant? It wasn’t clear from the subtitles.

This anime within the anime was actually pretty good!

Gojou must have a really strong heart to deal with with all of the Marin's shenanigans.

It's a shame Gojou didn't cosplay that guy from the anime. He looks like a perfect fit for him. But at least he can hide his face in that suit. But that last question... Peak!

Maybe the part where he realizes that people don't find what he does is creepy, is the precursor for him to cosplay as well ?

I don't feel like the cosplaying in bunny suit is over, so maybe when they do a shoot again he will cosplay ? Probably not, but one can hope.

I feel like there's going to be a plot point where he and Marin cosplay as some couple and this will be the point where he realizes that he loves Marin. Then he'll just need to find the courage to be proud of his work and the courage to confess.

I'm probably far off from what will actually happen but guessing is always fun!

I guess it was like this before, but it’s only something I really thought about now: It’s nice that the fake anime looked lower fidelity than the real one. I have a running joke with friends whenever we see an anime in an anime and ask whether the anime is photorealistic in their world. But here the thing one level down from their reality looks less real than their normal animation, so it kinda works out. All I’m saying is I want to see an anime where their world’s anime is in 1D just for the gag. The audience never actually gets to see it properly and the characters talk about it like it’s completely normal to them.

The expression and progression seems to have changed quite a lot from Season 1.

The progression made it feel like more of a 30 minute PV than a normal episode.
The exposure scenes feel more like a fan-service scene than what it was in the first season.

I recently rewatched S1 and was surprised how much fan service it had. I didn't remember it at all. Definitely not less than what this episode displayed.

Of course it had more of it.
Just that it didn't feel like fan-service.

The one in S02 Ep1 gave me vibes, similar to other cheap fan-service anime, while the one in S01 felt more sublime.
i.e. I don't like fan-service, but I watched S01 twice and I liked the scenes having fan-service too. In the current episode though, the fan-service scenes make me cringe the same as other fan-service anime. I guess I should be giving some examples, but can't remember any names, because they weren't even worth watching for the cringe factor.

Let's say my feeling was similar to that of the characters in Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou in Episode - High School Boys and Panties.
