I adopted a kitten late last year and I was woken up with it either crawling on my face or attacking my feet every morning until I started just closing it out. So, I feel for her being woken up like that.
This is simply a comment to test federation of distinguishing.
Also chiming in to say Apocalypse Hotel is really good. I didn't know what to expect since it is an anime original, but it has really impressed me (so far).
Yeah, if I was a scanlator, there is no way I would be uploading to MD any longer.
Shouldn't this be Netflix instead of Hulu?
How are you finding piefed from an admin's perspective? I personally use my piefed.social account more than my lemmy account when just browsing the fediverse (on a desktop...on mobile, the lemmy apps are easier). I also have been messing around with some community mod tools like post flairs and liked that.
Fun fact, !anime@ani.social has post flairs if you post from a piefed instance:
Obviously the enthusiasm with which she ate that stew blew away the smoke nearby. /s
The way they sequenced the story really turned the whole second half of this episode into being very focused on Hildegard. I think this is the first time we actually meet her and hear her talk in the show, and it is also when we learn about her backstory and relationship with Philia. Given her history with the Adenauers, it isn't surprising that she had stayed cold with Mia up to this point. I wouldn't be surprised if she had some kind of plan to escape Girtonia as it fell to monsters.
One of the things I like most about this story is how important the relationship between Mia and Philia is, despite them almost never interacting that we see. However, it's clear that they have managed to forge a strong bond in spite of the awful environment and people around them (or maybe because of it). I cannot wait for the revenge plot to play out.

Ending an episode like that really hurts. Waiting an entire week on that cliffhanger is going to be hell. Also, what kind of secret mission is get stranded in space? I would be really interested to see a more complete list of what the secret missions are.
My favorite part of this episode was the doorman robot practicing so much to open/close the hatch on the capsule. He was even in the background of several scenes through the episode during other conversations.
We are the Himmel to the universe's Frieren.
I've really enjoyed this one, but haven't been able to keep up with every chapter. So, I just caught up on the past couple all at once when I saw this one come out.
The axe claims another series. I was really liking this one.
