I adopted a kitten late last year and I was woken up with it either crawling on my face or attacking my feet every morning until I started just closing it out. So, I feel for her being woken up like that.

I remember years ago being super depressed and just in my bed and my limbs feeling weighed down and then my cat comes over and she wants attention she's licking my hand so i pet her and that bit of moving slowly got me sitting up and out of bed.
sometimes i think it'd be nice to have a program that subsidizes care of pets for people who are helped by them (and not abusive, obviously) but can't afford them. there were cats at the alzheimer care place my grandmother lived at, and my grandmother adored them and it made her final year less of a misery for her.
anyway, this manga makes me remember stuff like that, so that's nice. since it's 2AM and my current cat decided it was time to yell and now i'm wide awake. cats being annoying is good...sometimes...
