Bloom County is an American comic strip by Berkeley Breathed which originally ran from December 8, 1980, until August 6, 1989. It examined events in politics and culture through the viewpoint of a fanciful small town in Middle America, where children often have adult personalities and vocabularies and where animals can talk.

This community is for Bloom County ands associated media from 1980-1989, the life of the original strip.

As this is a relive the media as it was released community, do not post strips that were released after the date of the most recent strip posted (the day's date in 1982 for 2025, 1983 in 2026 etc).

MODERATORS
The Rubik's cube changes states from one panel to the next. We can see only one face clearly in the first panel, but in the last two panels we can see:
- a corner piece with two green stickers
- a corner piece with two red stickers
- a corner piece with two white stickers
- two corners which are both yellow-blue-X
- two blue center pieces
- two yellow center pieces
Any one of these sticker arrangements makes the cube unsolvable, so we can be fairly confident that Breathed did not look at a reference cube when drawing this strip.
Or, maybe the solution is to buy Bill The Cat merch.
That cat has way more personality than Garfield already.
