GM was the first major US automaker to make the promise to go all-electric by 2035, just four years ago. Those promises have since turned into rough estimates under the second Donald Trump presidency, with the company softening language about its electrification goals. Combustion engines only make sense if you can foist the externalities on the masses.

It’s just another way the rich manage to privatize profits and socialize losses.

Can GM release some sedan EVs then? GM only sells SUVs & Trucks in the EV department. I know all the vehicle companies are incentivised to go bigger which sucks. Regardless, I went with Hyundai since they actually had a sedan.

I'm not too surprised. Especially if you study the economies of places outside of the USA.
