Hello, I created this restyle for inkscape, if you like it you can get it on the gitlab page:

https://gitlab.com/sxwpb/ink-sx-ui

If you find issues you could report them on gitlab so I know about them.

As of inkscape 1.4, the default themes are general GTK themes (Adwaita or Minwaita), which should work OK in theory, but in practice they still result in various parts of Inkscape's UI having uneven spacings, "weird" margins, and other UI inconsistencies. This is because unless the application makes a dedicated effort to honour a theme's spacings, it can be very easy to drift out of the theme's intended look.

This project is an effort to maintain a dedicated stylesheet for the latest of each of Inkscape's major releases.

Sounds good. I'll check it out some time. Thanks for taking the time.

Sounds good, but we’ll see how I do for the next major Inkscape release which goes from gtk3 to gtk4, i might have to re-write most of the theme

As someone who's looking at learning Inkscape but doesn't have the coding skills to contribute, I humbly ask you reader to please support this project if you can.

This UI skin layout is much more familiar and IMO would increase adoption of the excellent FOSS that Inkscape is.
