Suggestions for RSS feeds/content?

Simple question - I'm finally getting an RSS reader running and I'm looking for good content feeds. Does the CFB community have any recommendations? I'm interested in many sports so it doesn't have to be CFB specific necessarily!

I just tried to set something up recently and ran into the problem of RSS feeds with low subscribers not being maintained. I wasn’t able to get articles from any of the local sites

I also noticed that, I'll add some and then they'll disappear because there's no activity.

I also recently fired up the old RSS reader (to fill the void left by Reddit until I found Lemmy). The main feed I was using was the Yahoo! Sports CFB feed:

https://sports.yahoo.com/college-football/rss/

The only issue is it's a fire hose of content because it merges all the articles from different teams' beat writers (and sometimes random HS football coverage creeps in, too). I try to follow the whole sport, so that's okay with me, but if you're mostly a fan of one team I would look for just that feed.

I only just added 247Sports' feed to my reader, but it seems to be really promising so far:

I think both sites have feeds for other sports, too.

Just added the Yahoo feed. Thanks.

I have FreshRSS running on the website I've had for eleventybillion years and finally found something to do with it when I (mostly) left Reddit. Here are the feeds I have:

  • Star Wars News Net. They could be crap, I don't know, but in the end who cares? I'm a grown man who pays attention to a Disney-owned media franchise. Self-respect went out the window in favor of nostalgia a LONG time ago.
  • XKCD
  • NPR News
  • Local DFW TV station that hasn't killed their feed yet
  • BBC Science and Environment
  • Verge
  • Keyboard builders digest. Oh man, I'm super excited about the plates I have coming from Xometry for a TKL design I tweaked on keyboard layout editor and pairing them with some DSA keycaps. Going for a whole "vaguely reminiscent of various 8- and 16-bit computers" vibe. I hope they aren't too rough to finish decently.
  • FC Dallas feed
  • Jacksonville Jaguars feed
  • NFL, soccer, and NCAAF feeds from CBS and Fox Sports
  • Sports feed from a Jacksonville station that is shamelessly leveraging their AP stories
  • "ESPN Dallas" feed

Hay man thanks for taking the time to respond! Sorry for delay I was out of town and forgot to check this account. I stole some suggestions and it gave me some ideas for others!
