So that was a resounding success, after a few days of using Pixelfed I found a local coffee roaster that I had no idea existed, and I'm browsing beautiful pictures with virtually no influencer pollution. There's the occasional scantily clad OnlyFans type of post every so often but it's okay.

The lack of posts pushing stuff on you is such a breath of fresh air, it's scary to see how social media has become a vehicle to shove marketing at you, subtle or not.

I really hope it won't change as numbers grow.
