3 blue mana, and I might say player A has the advantage

B: [Fires colt directly at your chest]

A: [Taps 3 blue mana] "Nope."

[–] Skullgrid@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

they can cast mana tithe but they didn't draw it. It would be effective against black since they mana screw, but it looks like white is manaflooded.

Although if (for some stupid reason) black actually plays the draw 4 on white, they might draw their mana tithe.

It's not now though it's white, which can be used for healing I think.

[–] IndiBrony@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

This is true, but white is gonna let that stack resolve which could give B further advantages, blue is gonna stop that shit dead in its tracks.

Guns to plowshares is the best choice here

[–] _stranger_@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I think a gun would make a terrible plowshare, and I once watched a man turn a shovel into an AK 47.

I'd use the ritual card: contract with exodia and summon necross exodia from my graveyard. really the only way out of this mess

You'd also have enough mana left over for two Rook to Exile's to even the playing field

[–] Kanda@reddthat.com 1 points 2 months ago

White can play Mana Tithe and player B has no untapped lands

The ☀☀☀ will cast a "protection against artifacts" ;)

3 mana versus six bullets, and that's not even counting the extra rooks!

"Oh, you shot Mr a fourth time, good thing I have these performance enhancing drugs to make me feel better as I bleed out."

Draw. Neither of them have the eye of the tiger

Question, is the Colt loaded?

[–] HypnoticSheep@lemmy.world 10 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Since 1969 every pawn is required to have a small gunpowder charge so that it can be used as ammunition in an emergency situation, good question

What happened to motivate this rule change? It took them a really long time since chess came out.

[–] gon@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 2 months ago

They're actually evenly matched. The Colt equalizes.

Pfft a .22, what a weak caliber for a champion's heart. Still fatal

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 1 points 2 months ago

Only a champion's heart? Not the heart of the cards®™×§?

Me: pendulum summons another king

What good is 3 white mana if you have no exile?

[–] tiramichu@sh.itjust.works 4 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Who knows what might happen when he's made to draw four cards

[–] DmMacniel@feddit.org 2 points 2 months ago

Aaah the unstoppable Emrakul!

It's not possible, nobody is able to summon them!
