Unlike Nazi Germany, Israel will actually have to live with whatever the consequences of their actions with the US and the rest of the world are in the longterm, so the whole striving towards a "Supersparta" definitely makes sense. Israel is superfluous to the authoritarian regime change Trump is bringing in.

I only have a vague idea of what Kirk stood for so can someone please explain why anyone would think that Israel killed him? Wasn't he a Trump supporter - and by extension a supporter of Israeli policy?
