POLICE Scotland are appealing for information after a pair of tagged golden eagles disappeared from a conservation project near the Scottish Borders.

Police are concerned that Tarras, a four-year-old male golden eagle may have come to harm after alarming patterns and data reports came through from his tag.

Neither the eagle nor his tag have thus far been recovered by investigators, but a full search of the area, using dogs trained in searching for birds and their tags and specialist resources, is now underway.

Guarantee this was done by some piece of shit posho because the eagles were taking grouse from a local shoot. Who are also the main reason the golden eagles disappeared from this area anyway despite their claims of sustainability.
