SAG-AFTRA has slammed a newly-launched AI talent studio in a statement released Tuesday, saying: “Creativity is, and should remain, human-centered.”

Over the weekend, the creator of the computer-generated actress Tilly Norwood responded to critics after news broke that her studio was looking to get Norwood representation.

"Experience" doesn't matter. The goal is to destroy things like SAG-AFTRA. They'll push this shit through regardless of public opinion because none of the suits in charge care about "human-centered" anything. They want to monopolize the industry until the only option is to pay to watch their content, and they want that content made as cheaply as possible.

I for one just adore the enshittification of literally everything, we've built a self poisoning well that will kill us all, and my hatred of humanity is blossoming quite nicely from my view in whatever layer of hell this is

I can't wait for them to resurrect Mister Rogers as a soulless AI ghoul to tell the kids it's wrong to not have a social media account through one of today's sponsors.

The ai looks like a Disney channel manufactured product.

This is a stupid publicity stunt by some schmuck. Fictional characters can't join a union.

That said:

Artists objecting to AI talk like fucking aliens. 'Where's its intent? What's its actors secret? How does it warm up? Who did it vote for? Does it have Buddha nature?'

This lifelike cartoon is a text. The audience does not see your internal state. That private emotional landscape is useful to you, as a human, to put a performance onscreen. But all that actually matters is what's onscreen. If someone fakes it better than you feel it, they will get hired over you.

many still worry that AI could, one day, replace actors

Like how CGI means there's no more live-action. We can have movies without real cameras on real people, so acting is over.

Needs at least 5 years of heroin use , a couple of DUIs and a few stints in rehab, then we can hear about vaccines.
