I know Ukraine shut off the pipes from Russia some time ago. I wonder if that's the reason Hungary can't get Russian oil. Sucks to side with Russia in the Ukraine invasion.
At the same time, Engie did not specify the origin of the gas supplied to Hungary. European LNG buyers and traders typically source from a portfolio that includes the US, the Middle East, Africa, Australia and sometimes Russia.
Good news but could be better. I may misinterpret it but I read as the buyer decides how much oil would come from Russia.
No oil. Gas.
