The program being cut was for electric grid upgrades and H2 projects. There was not a single "e-bike lane" project being funded.

Said it before and will say it again. Without bike the lanes the bike is in the car lane and I don't think drivers want that.

What they won't tell you is that building a road is much more expensive than building a cycleway, as the road construction is much deeper.

Even maintenance costs more, as lorries damage roads much more than any cycle ever can.

Apart from the fact that cycling is free and cars are cars...
