Ah, yeah I figured it was probably that whole thing. Mullenweg's a complete POS but in terms of all the major social media sites right now, I'd still say Tumblr's on the better side of things. The team that actually runs Tumble seems to be pretty cool compared to Automattic itself

Oh, I promise I'm not trying to sell you on anything. I don't use Tumble and I'm happy here as well. I only bring it up because the Tumblr userbase has done a lot of good in terms of social progressiveness, so writing it off as a transphobic site in the same way as Twitter/X just seems off to me.
Don't confuse progressive praxis with silos. It is precisely my disappointment that they are in a silo posting this critique than in freer platforms where progressive actions are made.
