It definitely wasn't, I've been reading from the start again recently to refresh my memory and I got up to the end of volume 9 before this episode and it wasn't there.
Unless they're just taking it from a future chapter and placing it here but my guess is they needed some filler to ensure the next 2 chapters will be one episode
