If a southerner isnt a yankee then they arent a legal citizen of the united states. Yankees are US citizens, plain and simple.

If you're not a Yankee then you're a traitor, I seem to remember setting the south on fire to elucidate that point.
Simply destroying the monuments erases the history around their creation.
Instead only take down the head and leave a plaque like "50 years after the end of chattel slavery, racists spent the towns money to build a monument to traitorous losers who died fighting to maintain the institution of slavery. Lmao. Anyway, fascists in 2025 got mad because they identify with these losers"
