Recorded doing what, exactly? Orbits are a big circle/ellipse, spy satellites just pass over everything.

Yeah this seems like making a fuss over nothing. Even a completely uninvolved military power is going to observe what it can to see what does and doesn't work on each side. There are also about 150 Yaogan satellites up there, I feel like the chances of any given patch of ground having at least one of them looking at it at any given time are pretty high

Yes, but you can time the strikes to be shortly after them passing to make sure your targeting is based on recent images.

Maybe, or maybe it's just a coincidence, if that's all they have.

China getting involved (as opposed to selling dual-use parts for financial gain) is a big claim, and needs big evidence. The headline doesn't show much promise, and the site blocks me.

and the site blocks me.

Why?

A lot of people block Tor users. And I'm not about to rawdog the internet with my real IP - which Lemmy will actually get.

No, I'm not a Russian troll farmer that decided to just causally admit it. Nor do I expect this website (which is new to me) is aware they're blocking anyone; it was clearly a service provider's block page.

I thought that's what you were implying. Like, they blocked me for a reason.

Blyat, tricked myself again! /s
