Ragebait misinformation video.

Funny that it's criticizing misinformation, while doing it himself 😒

This kind of tech is going to mislead people into wars. It's going to ruin digital information

To part a fool from their money.

Well I dunno, I just watched their demo video and otherwise know nothing about it, but it looks like an interesting experiment. Maybe some day — if they keep throwing hundreds of billions of dollars at it for another decade or two — it'll get good enough to justify however much it costs to run.

I really can't wait for the financial house of cards to come crashing down from all the freebies handed out by the billion and for shit like this to finally have its actual price tag attached to it.

Why should anything, really¿ All depends on what you assume something's purpose that justifies its existence should be.

If you don't believe in purposes, then nothing requires reasons to exist because they don't need justification. Things just are and you either like them or don't like them.

If you do believe in purposes, then understanding its' sole purpose is the accumulation of wealth and power towards OpenAI as a collective organism should suffice.

Why should crocodiles exist? Why should mosquitoes? Why should viruses and other sources of disease? They don't need a reason. They're just doing what they do to survive, grow and reproduce. You know, just like ideologies. We're just what they feed off and their means of materialization (through our actions).
