If the EU actually gave a shit about CSAM, they'd engage in their own investigations and prosecutions of Epstein's associates.

Instead, they're trying to give surveillance capitalism the keys to the kingdom and mass surveil everyone's communications, except themselves of-course, so they can continue their pedophile protection racket and prevent any future revolt against themselves, all of their criminal pedo and corrupt cronies, and the oligarchs they represent.

Calling it a "one-man spam campaign" when that one man does not send any of the emails himself (well ok, he probably sent a few himself) is pretty rich. Good article, terrible title and lede.

Joachim's campaign is blocking more traditional lobbyists and campaigners, too, they said. Mieke Schuurman, director at child rights group Eurochild, said the group’s messages are no longer reaching policymakers, who “increasingly respond with automated replies.”

Great success.

The campaign has irked some recipients. “In terms of dialog within a democracy, this is not a dialog,” said Lena Düpont, a German member of the European People’s Party

This isn't a dialog. It's a democracy and you are hearing from the people. If you don't like what you hear, know how alone you are.

Yeah, since when is a form letter sent by constituents considered “spam”? Also, care about abused children? How many europeans have been prosecuted for their connections with Epstein?

[–] Telorand@reddthat.com 3 points 2 months ago

But he did it by himself! And he sent it to lots of people! Only we're allowed to spam...I mean "inform" our constituents! —Politicians, probably

Thanks to Joachim, if we ever meet beers are on me!

The emails are sent from visitors' own email clients, meaning Joachim doesn't know how many have been sent,

And thus is proven that the reported is an asshole with an agenda.
