I was coming to comment about O'Brien's completely nonplussed turn, too. It's less, "Oh no, someone was murdered," and more "Someone's gonna have to clean this shit."
O'Brien was just disappointed to once again be spared the sweet release of death. He was probably getting annoyed that he'd have to fix a broken phaser conduit or some shit, and now he's running back in his memory like "oh damn, did I accidentally create another transport clone?"
That some serious "oh, shit! now security issues are my problem too?" face.
