Religion is designed to keep the masses uneducated, unsympathetic and complacent.

Literally human cattle

You forgot "divided, branded, and breeding feverishly like prey animals in spring".

Their congregations are "human" resources, and much like the blithe lemming: effectively routing nutrients from the ecosystem's basal tiers up the chain to the toxified & inbred minority in their lofty, fragile perches teetering w/ dependency on the sustaining funnel of free resources.

ahem.

Several of the links look like they want to be sources but instead of taking you to scientific papers, they take you to the homepage of sites with scientific papers. The author sound like they've done a lot of research but you'll have to do your own research to verify. I don't like it. In my experience, the article seems accurate, but it's on Medium because it boils down to an unsupported article.

I love that in the community we still have fact checking with an emphasis on primary sources.

Thank you.

Question everything, especially the sources that tell you everything you want to hear.

Who the fuck are you?!

It's because those are all poor states, where both religiosity and the rest of that stuff is higher.

Correlation is not.. hmm.

Gun Violence, Illiteracy, Obesity, Incarceration and Anti-Depressant Use

That's only five. I thought these things always came in groups of seven.
