It's difficult yo look at Dali as real art; so much of his shit was just what he thought would be edgy. Like the art version of talking to a sociopath.

I like much of Dali's art but hate the person. Especially the Nazi sympathy.
Like talking to a sociopath; there's real sentiment in there somewhere, but it cannot be untangled from the disingenuous bullshit.
You can say that for all his work as a while but not individual pieces. Some of them are problematic sure, but a lot of his work is good as is.
But to each their own 🤷♂️
There might be some where he's talking to you or the ratio is better, its true. I'm not familiar with most of it; seeing a few pieces that fit my description and knowing his politics made me disinterested, and I have not sought them out.
Yeah thats fine. Theres a great big art world out there and much more to experience.
There really is. In the top ten good things about it.
