I want to live in Zohran’s New York even more now.

If he can pull off half of what he's promised, it might be enough to get me to move back.

As a middle aged divorced guy who has accepted that (failing an unexpected inheritance or collapse of the national real estate market) I’ll never own a home, New York seems like one of the few US cities where renting permanently would be manageable.

Honestly, if his ideas work out, I hope they spread so you and others can stay where they are and enjoy the same!

He's certainly convinced some other people to run on democratic socialist platforms. Omar Fateh was "the Mamdani of Minneapolis" though he just narrowly lost his mayoral election (after being snubbed by the party). Here's hoping we see a lot more momentum in that direction

What an absolute king, we need more Democrats like him, AOC and Kat Abughazaleh. We need less like those 8 rat fucks.

Yes. A real progressive, not our current one fake ass Brandon Johnson who has the CTU’s hand so far up his ass that he is nothing more than a ventriloquist dummy.

That's your problem with him? Not trying to give a huge corporate handout by letting the Bears build their new stadium on lakefront parkland?

Supporting teachers doesn't make someone less of a progressive by my lights.

Like i want more of what other countries have. Especially the pedestrian friendly 3rd places, restaurants or even just more trees!

Do u just assume our reasonably high usage of male trees as communist(s)?

You joke but that's literally not scaring voters anymore. Zohran uses the word "socialist" all the time. Conservatives' red scare timer is quickly running out as the country is destroyed by fascist oligarchy (the endpoint of capitalism).

That's some super sensible shit right there.

Of course the GOP is going to lose their collective minds over it
