Yeah, no, the FBI literally investigated him for TEN YEARS and found zero evidence of anything, and concluded it was all a waste of time. They were actually 100% specifically looking for any evidence they could find and couldn't.

It was truly bizarre, the way the media spun his court cases too. If you compare the transcripts of what happened inside the court room, to the coverage...it's all completely backwards. But, of course, people only listened to the media's version, so...

The media made so much money off of torturing Michael Jackson.

It was them punishing him for daring to be the most popular black artist ever. Even with the vitiligo in his later years, he was still black!

[–] SalamenceFury@lemmy.world 7 points 4 days ago

*whispers* it's cause he was black.

and this is why scream, to this day, is the best michael jackson song

What about those kids testifying in that documentary and shit? Y'all see that shit?

Edit: okay, negative votes; please note I'm not saying they are necessarily telling the truth...

I read that the first kid to ever come out and say anything first claimed vehemently that MJ never touched him... until his parents had scopolamine treatments done to "unlock his repressed memories".

At least one of the kids’ families literally did the same thing to other stars.

That's crazy if true. Very scary.

No corroborating evidence whatsoever despite ten years of investigations should tell you something. Anybody can just claim things.

I mean, some things are just difficult to find evidence of, due to the nature of the action. Like, could you find evidence I groped your groin e.g., if I did so? That would be extremely difficult unless we had a physical altercation afterwards, then that might leave signs of... something, and you could explain that the reason was I groped you, but it would still just be an explanation coming from your mouth. The only "evidence" for that part is your testimony.

It's just super weird what those kids said he would do with them, like sleeping in the same bed and sucking each other's dicks and whatnot.

I really hope it isn't true, not just for Michael's sake but that I really wish none of those kids actually experienced that. I have two kids myself, and that hits me hard to imagine.

I feel it's a worthy hill. Everyone has their own limits, and people have to make a stand somewhere. This was his.

IDK. It seems more like a straw/camel's back thing. Dude said he already didn't like going there, and when they pulled MJ, that was it for him. That's fair.
