It's been a while, but I have finally got PDF uploads and an editor in a state where I'm ready to share!
Try it at clickstitch.app, as always any feedback or suggestions are welcome! :)
Here are the changes:
๐ PDF Uploads
It is now possible to upload a digital PDF pattern so you can track your progress! It will construct the cross-stitch pattern from one or multiple grid pages and attempt to auto-detect the threads for each stitch.
I've tested it on a few websites as well as a couple that other people have sent. If no threads can be detected, an option to choose will be available.
There's no doubt some PDFs won't work (yet!), feel free to send them to see if they can be supported!
Once uploaded you will have the option to edit the pattern. Which brings us to the next major change:
๐จ Pattern Editor
Before finalising a pattern that you'd like to track progress for, there is now an editor. Whether the pattern has been uploaded via a PDF, an image or from scratch you can:
- "Paint" or erase stitches
- Draw various shapes
- Swap entire thread colours
- Check whether you have the required threads in your inventory
- Stamp images onto your an existing pattern

- It's now possible to see % progress for all patterns directly on the dashboard page
- Global (all of your patterns) stats are viewable on the dashboard
- Your "active" pattern will be displayed at the top of the dashboard
