I usually like computerphile but I'm not sure what the value proposition is for a video with a thumbnail of a guy and the title AI Slop. That's 15 minutes long. We all know what AI Slop is already. What more is this going to tell me?

Good question.

I thought the same thing. And because I recognized the person and channel, I decided to check it out. I found some new value in it. Hence why I posted it. And it's fine if you didn't.

I'd like to watch it and I usually like their stuff. I just haven't taken the plunge yet.

I recognize that it's a workaround for a problem foisted on us by idiots and we shouldn't have to deal with it, but I like the absurd notion of a "Spam folder" of websites

Hopefully ai slop will stay slop, that way we can still know about and value human made content. Imagine the unemloyment rate if ai gets "very good" at making websites/articles/software etc.

I don’t think it’s a matter of if but when, at least for video. Look how much better it’s gotten since the Will Smith eating spaghetti just 2 years ago.
